Planting Time and Fertilizer Validation Based on Banyudono Planting Calendar in Boyolali Regency

Nowadays, information technology on planting calendar and fertilizer dosage remains research challenges, in Indonesia, especially for end user farmers. Integration of the (then called as KATAM – ‘Kalender Tanam’), has raised many benefits users since it provides basic recommendations seed needs. This aims to validate benefit using Integrated guidance rice fertilizing Bangak Village, Banyudono Sub-district, with an area around 6,100 m2. Two different approaches was performed: (i) interviewing farmers about date, variety, growth phase, water resource, their anticipate climate change, (ii) calculating productivity under pattern, dosage, variety. treatments were used simultaneously field within same based KATAM. The first treatment a combination date Situ Bagendit while second two dosages applied varieties (Ciherang Bagendit). Field activity held May-August June-September 2016. results found that 60% Sub-district did not integrated recommendation time. During year validation period (2016), 80% rice-rice-rice remaining rice-rice-palawija. Our findings revealed most preferred use variety its higher tolerance drought potential yield. By applying recommendation, gave highest up 8.89 ton/ha compared other varieties. Further highlights may increase when is applied.
